EGALITARIAN YOUTH MANAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
PROPOSAL
PREAMBLE:
The idea of Egalitarianism boggled the mind of a group of friends, who considered the fact that, if Egalitarianism is truly to mean equality, and following the constitutional provision of Equal Right of Persons, then how far has it been implemented in Nigeria viz-avis Environmental, Political and Economic wise. Nigerian Youths seem to pose a nonchalant, ineptitudinal and neglectful responsibility to Nigeria (individually and communal). It is often acclaimed that the Youths are leaders of tomorrow, and that the future of any Nation lies in the Youth, while there are no Sustainable Development to preparing the Nigerian Youths for the future. What an irony.
Therefore, this zeal to help put things aright; by motivating the young to be responsible to themselves, environment and their community and to Nigeria, which will then translate into steering the ship of Nigerian politics and consequently taken over the mantle of leadership of this Nation, as well as influencing government policies that will enhance environmental and Sustainable Development in Nigeria became the indispensible factor that led to the formation of the Egalitarian Youth Management for Sustainable Development, on 15th August, 2013.
